This year marked the 2nd anniversary of the African Student Affair Conference (ASAC). As the first event of its type for student affairs professionals in Africa, ASAC has developed rapidly and continuously since its inauguration in 2009. This year’s theme is ‘Transformation and Transition: creating opportunities and enhancing student services in Africa’. It is no exaggeration therefore to say that the 2nd African Student Affairs Conference is a MUST ATTEND EVENT for practising student affairs and education professionals from all African accredited institutions.
This conference will foster knowledge and awareness of historical and current challenges, current trends, and effective strategies associated with student affairs issues; encourage innovative and scholarly research related to student affairs; build a support network of professional colleagues to develop and share a comprehensive database of valuable resources relevant to all areas of your work; create and highlight innovative approaches to student affairs management; and develop and promote best practices and standards related to management protocol, including assessment and evaluation.
